 CASA PIAN DI BONANO

A unique place of peace and quiet

CASA PIAN DI BONANO is a former farm in the quiet mountains of Tuscany, surrounded by chestnut woods and far from civilisation. Every year from May to September the Casa is available for seminars, workshops and culinary weeks. For our guests we offer full board with excellent Italian cuisine with only the freshest local produce.

The house is situated far away from the noise of civilisation and is a typical former farm, built of stone with its own bread oven and open fire place.

In 1980 it was adapted by Giovanni Dellefant as guesthouse for groups and has been a popular space for workshops, seminars and culinary weeks ever since.

THE LUXURY OF PEACE AND QUIET

The favorable position and the surroundings of the house allow a deep contact with nature. You will find peace and recreation, can tour the spacious chestnut woods, listen to the birds, watch foxes and wild boars, visit the bathing spot down at the river, take a walk to an abandoned village or to the little forest lake nearby. A stone platform on a hill behind the house invites you to sprawl during the night under the starry sky, watch the dance of the fireflies and count the shooting stars.

The nearest farm is a good distance from the guesthouse, so the Casa and its guests are undisturbed, which makes it ideal for creative, meditative and therapeutic seminars.

We like to keep it very simple at the Casa: We do not offer WiFi, television or any advanced amenities. What we do offer is a simple life and a distraction free environment. The luxury at the Casa consists of the nature that surrounds it as well as the fantastic kitchen of the house. We do like to indulge in the delicious taste of Tuscany by enjoying the best food and wines the region has to offer.

THE LUXURY OF THE ITALIAN KITCHEN

It is very important to us at the Casa to give our guests the best culinary experience Italy has to offer. In the morning we offer a breakfast buffet with cereal, fruit, tomatoes, goats cheese, fresh bread and much more.

For lunch and dinner our chef will prepare fresh salads, Risotto alla Milanese, lasagne, tortellini with butter and fresh sage or stuffed zucchini. Refreshing water from our spring will quench the thirst and the gorgeous red chianti wine will accompany the dishes.

Each summer there is the "Culinary Week", a cooking course or better a seminar about the secrets of the Italian cuisine.
